VO Associates are full service Vacation Ownership and Timeshare specialists, offering practical solutions to optimise returns and accelerate cash flow on hotel, resort and purpose built inventory. We engage at whatever stage our clients require; to assist with / re-direct established operations or, at inception, after a review of our clients’ objectives, to set out a concise go / no go appraisal. When applicable, we spell out the next steps required to deliver a successful project, explain what resources would be required and how we can assist with delivery.
Chris is a highly commercial finance director. His career spans a broad range of industries and has a strong international flavour with assignments in Asia, Europe, Latin America, Africa, Canada and the Middle East. In the hotel and leisure sector, his experience includes resort development, vacation ownership and CFO of a publicly quoted hotel development company.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and a member of its Financial Reporting Faculty. He is currently an active member of the PwC panel of Turnaround Directors. Chris brings not only sophisticated financial modelling and accountancy, but also a strong command of legal, contractual and structural issues, trust administration and corporate taxation across a range of jurisdictions. His corporate finance training and experience in acquisitions, mergers, IPO’s and management buy-outs completes a comprehensive commercial and financial skill set.
His flexible, hands on approach accommodates both the discipline of accurate management information and operational practical requirements.
A senior executive in the Resort Hospitality Industry with over 30 years leadership experience in Shared Ownership and Fractional sectors, Paula provides independent advisory services in resort sales and marketing; feasibility; product definition and product development; member acquisition, engagement and retention; property acquisitions; business start-ups and business turn-arounds; and team recruitment, training and development.
Paula has a proven track record in strategic delivery at CEO, VP and Consultant/Advisor level via her results-driven collaborative leadership style, coupled with an intense customer focus and a deep understanding of key business drivers. Her direct delivery experience to date has been predominantly in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the USA, and she has spent over 20 years of her career working in Global Hospitality/Resort Leisure Corporations such as Marriott, Interval International and Sunterra. Paula served on the Resort Developers Organisation (RDO -previously OTE) as Member of the Board, Executive Committee, and on the Membership and Ethics Councils.
